Lifeline is a personal response monitoring system by Philips which is offered through the Martin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. It provides a 24-hour connection to the LifeLine response center and the most advanced personal monitoring technologies available.
If emergency help is needed, at the touch of a button on the personal transmitter worn around the neck, appropriate assistance is immediately available. The LifeLine system provides freedom, security and assurance to experience a true sense of safety and personal well being in the confines of your own home.
The Auxiliary started providing the service in 1994 and prides itself in providing these services not only as a fundraiser for the Auxiliary, but a public service for our community. Unlike many of the commercial companies providing this type of service, the Auxiliary provides services on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contract.
