Join us on July 18 for the 14th annual Goombay Bash at Sandsprit Park in Stuart!
The fun begins at 7 p.m. and includes tasty local eats, cool libations, live music and more. Hosted by the Martin Health System LifeSavers, Goombay Bash is one of the most anticipated events on the Treasure Coast and raises funds for maternal child and pediatric services at Martin Health.
The LifeSavers are local volunteers, from Martin and St. Lucie Counties, who dedicate their personal time to raise funds for infant, pediatric and family programs at Martin Health through the annual Goombay Bash. Many committee members have had babies at Martin Medical Center; some were actually born at the hospital themselves! Each and every one of them has a story to tell.
Every summer, the Goombay Bash heats up the Treasure Coast to support healthy families and babies born at Martin Health. Since inception, the LifeSavers have raised $1 million total, which has been used to purchase new technology, equipment and facilities for our maternal-child department. Your support of the Goombay Bash will continue to fund programs initially subsidized by the LifeSavers including: swaddler sacks for infants, breast care education for mothers and equiment for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The Martin Health Foundation could not do what it does without the generous support of our philanthropic community. For more information on getting involved with the Goombay Bash, please contact Michelle Eastman, Events Specialist, at 772.223.5693 or Michelle.Eastman@martinhealth.org.
