Community Health Resources: St Lucie County Residents

Hands Clinic of St Lucie County: The Hand Clinic of St Lucie County provides adult primary care, mental health, dental (adult and pediatric), and vision services to the indigent, medically uninsured and underinsured residents of St Lucie County.  The clinic is staffed primarily by volunteers. Martin Health System supports the Hands Clinic by providing Lab and Diagnostic Services. Harvest Food and Outreach Center: Harvest Food and Outreach Center provides community support by offering hunger relief, crisis care, education, and employment training opportunities. Harvest Food and Outreach Center is located at 2520 Orange Ave, Ft. Pierce, FL 34947, or can be reached via phone 772.468.8543

United Way St. Lucie County: The United Way is a community resource that helps people gain access to services they need by partnering and supporting many community organizations that are addressing the needs of the community. They fund community programs that are being provided by different agencies in St. Lucie County.
 
211 Helpline: Provides free assistance and referrals in times of emotional, financial, and community crisis. 211 services Include healthcare navigation, crisis intervention (suicide and abuse), community information, teen and elder hotlines. Dial 2-1-1 from your phone to access services.

Treasure Coast Food Bank: Treasure Coast Food Bank provides food to charitable organizations serving those that are food insecure. In addition to food distribution, TCFB provides numerous programs that not only solve the immediate problems of hunger, but help individuals and families gain long-term food security.

Florida Department of Health: The St. Lucie County Health Department provides affordable care to the residents of St. Lucie County including, family planning, pediatric care, adult health care, AIDS/HIV and STD testing, disease control and management, emergency preparedness, tobacco prevention programs, and immunizations. 

St. Lucie Council on Aging: Council on Aging has assistance programs for seniors, elderly, and people over 55 years of age. Get food from Meals on Wheels. Transportation can help a senior get to a job interview or doctor appointment. Adult daycare and elder services are offered. May also have information on prescription assistance, Medicare, and programs that seniors can use to ensure they are billed correctly by their medical provider.772.336-8608

Treasure Coast Hospice: Treasure Coast Hospice provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. They are located in Martin and St Lucie County, call 800.299.4677 for more information.
