Profile
Dr. Desman received his medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Desman completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Orthopaedic and Arthritic Hospital in Toronto, Ontario and a joint replacement fellowship under Richard Rothman, M.D. at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Desman is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, the National Board of Medical Examiners and the Canadian National Board of Medical Examiners. Prior to coming to Stuart in 1996, Dr. Desman practiced in Cary, North Carolina for 2 years and in Miami, Florida for 6 years.
