Rates: $79 for Members; $89 for Non-Members

Parent/Child (6 months – 3 years)
Level 1: Intro to Water Skills
Level 2/3: Fundamental Aqua Skills
Level 3/4: Stroke Development and Improvement

Swim Class Descriptions
Parent/Child: (6 months to 18 months)
Parents and children learn together through two fun-filled levels to increase children's comfort in the water and to build a foundation of basic aquatic and water safety skills.
- 8 – 8:30 am, 1:45-2:15 pm
Parent Child/Toddler: (18 months – 3 years)
Same basic safety and stroke work as parent/child. This is usually the child's first time in the water by themselves. The child will learn to front and back crawl.

LEARN TO SWIM: The following levels are on a graduation basis determined by the instructor: 3 yrs old +
Level 1: INTRODUCTION TO WATER SKILLS
The swimmer is comfortable in and around the water. This level will help gain greater independence in their skills including bobbing, floating, recovering to a vertical position, roll from back to front and front to back, treading water, and water safety.
- 9:15 – 9:45 am (*Young Class 3 & 4 yr olds)
- 10:45 – 11:15 am
- 1 - 1:30 pm
Level 2/3: FUNDAMENTAL AQUATIC SKILLS AND STROKE DEVELOPMENT
The swimmer must pass level 1 by floating on their back for 10 seconds and performing a front crawl on their stomach for 15 meters and 3 breaths. This level will focus on the proficiency with the basic water skills.
- 11:30 am- 12:00 pm
Level 3: STROKE DEVELOPMENT
The swimmer must pass level 2 by performing the front and back crawl for 15 to 20 meters WHICH IS THE LENGTH OF THE LONG POOL. Will build skills in deeper water including swimming under water, feet-first surface dive, survival swimming, front crawl and backstroke open turns, treading water using two different kicks, basic backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke and butterfly.
Level 3/4: STROKE IMPROVMENT
Improves skills learned in level 3 :
- 12:15-12:45 pm
Level 5: SWIM TEAM AND STROKE REFINEMENT
The swimmer must pass level 3/4 showing proficiency in all four strokes. This level will focus on endurance swimming, stroke technique and how to use a swim clock. Speak to instructor, may need privates if not enough students to fill class.
ADULT GROUP SWIM LESSONS: If you never learned how to swim as a child, it is never too late! Learn all the skills you need to feel comfortable in and around the water. Private lessons are available by appointment.

Group swim lessons must have three or more participants and times are subject to change. Additional classes may be added if needed.
