The U.S. Weight-Control Information Network offers these inexpensive exercise suggestions:
Take a walk or run around a local park, or the track at a nearby school.
Go for a brisk walk around the nearest mall.
Rent some inexpensive exercise videos.
Don't have a dog to walk? Pretend you do, and start walking on your own.
