Better Sit-Ups

To isolate the abdominal muscles when you do sit-ups, lift your upper body only about 6 to 10 inches off the floor, say researchers at the University of Louisville. To help concentrate on isolating these muscles, don't listen to music or watch television while doing sit-ups.
