The David L. Smythe Wound Center at Martin Health provides a multidisciplinary program of treatment and support for the management of acute and chronic wounds. For most people, wound healing is a natural process. But for some, it becomes a complex medical problem requiring specialized treatment and care.

Since problem wounds are often associated with underlying medical conditions, our program is designed to integrate wound care with ongoing health care. Our comprehensive program includes:
